Clothes Moth (Tineola Bisselliella) Control Process

Moths are well known for the tremendous damage they cause to fabrics and clothing. It is most important that the source of the infestation is located and identified. Careful examination of furniture such as wardrobes and drawers for larvae cases, damage and moths is paramount. In the corners of rooms and along the edges of carpeted areas which are difficult to access may have signs of damage.

Methods of Treatment include:

A fast and effective knock down treatment method may be ULV, smoke generator or one shot aerosol. This could follow a residual insecticide spraying.

An insecticide fogging machine or smoke generator can be applied within each room whilst a residual insecticide spray may be applied around windows, ceilings, walls and carpets. All treatments carried out adhere to industry regulations.

After treatment, moth monitors are available to alert you to the presence of any new moth infestation entering your property.

The larvae are also known to sometimes cause irritation and allergic reaction if they come into contact with skin directly.
